Default Charo Washer's Testimony

Ephesians 1
4 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. 6 So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.

Proverbs 16:4
The LORD has made all for Himself,
Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.

I bet that definitely was a shock to her husband and family!

You know what is really sad though? If she had told what she told Paul to most of the preachers or "christians" in any of the churches today, they would have told her that it was just the devil trying to take away her assurance, and that she was really saved if she had said a prayer at some point. So they'd have told her to "rebuke" the devil, and not worry about it.

19 You will say to me then, "Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?"
20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it?

I know, exactly. It reminds me of when God started really changing me. I told Ishka that I didn't think I was a Christian and he told me that I was LOL. But, thankfully I didn't listen to him. And also thank God that He decided to change Ishka too.

I thought her story was pretty neat! I mean, she was a missionary's wife. It's pretty tough for someone like that to come out and say, "Hey, I don't think I'm a Christian."
